NEW SITE ENSURES BIRMINGHAM IS ALWAYS IN STYLE

A new campaign designed to assert Birmingham’s position as a style capital has launched with a new-look, interactive website and creative advertising slogan, Always In Style.
The new site, www.stylebirmingham.com, boasts a range of interactive features including an extensive directory of the city’s 1000 retailers, a YouTube channel featuring footage of Birmingham’s most star-studded events, guest bloggers from the world of fashion and an events calendar highlighting the places to be, and be seen, across the city.
Supported by a new advertising campaign, poster sites and Always In Style branding, the site design will change each season to reflect the latest trends. Visitors can also sign up to email alerts, SMS messages and Style Birmingham’s own Twitter feed, making it even easier to stay fashion-focussed throughout the year.
Style Birmingham, the brand that represents the city’s retail outlets, has given its flagship website a makeover to offer shoppers a more interactive retail experience.
Kevin Breese, General Manager at Harvey Nichols and Chair of Retail Birmingham’s marketing group, said: “Stylebirmingham.com is the first port of call for anyone, anywhere in the world, who is interested in coming to shop in Birmingham. Effectively, it’s the best form of window shopping that the city can offer.
“The changes to the site are designed to give visitors the most enjoyable user experience and entice even more shoppers to come and spend time in our city. Supported by the new advertising campaign, we’re confident that Birmingham will retain its position as a top style capital.”
