Popstar Jessie J and BRIT Trust Chairman unveil BOA recording studio

Pop princess Jessie J and BRIT Trust chairman, John Craig OBE, visited the recently opened Birmingham-based digital, creative and performing arts academy, BOA, to officially open its state-of-the-art recording studio.
The £25 million purpose-built academy is at the forefront of the development of creative and digital arts and has superb facilities for academic, vocational and extra-curricular activities. This latest unveiling revealed a £100k recording studio to further enhance the learning experience of its students.
Partnered with the BRIT School, Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) welcomed the singing sensation and BRIT Trust chairman through its doors on Tuesday 18th October to meet with students, staff and partners and officially present the academy with a donation of £100k as they opened the new BRIT Trust Recording Studio.
Gaynor Cheshire, BOA Principal, comments: “We are extremely grateful to BRIT Trust for this sizable donation which has helped us realise the dream of providing our students with a first class, industry standard recording studio. We were delighted to welcome Jessie J and John Craig to the academy and look forward to seeing our pupils use the studio as part of their learning experience.”
