Punch is looking for a BASS Festival marketing intern

BASS Festival (British Arts and Street Sounds) is the UK’s only month long celebration of Black Music and Art. Every June, the UK comes alive with a phenomenal line up of events, new commissions, gigs, exhibitions, master classes, showcases, club nights, theatre performances, conferences and film.
Punch Records is looking for a bright and enthusiastic intern, with the ability to write engagingly to help with the marketing of the festival, in particular working the social and digital media networks. The successful intern will be busy blogging, writing copy for the website, updating social networking groups and utilising local and national press contacts. There will also be some event co-ordination.
In return, you’ll get the very best hands on experience in festival and music marketing and planning.
Based in the Custard Factory in Birmingham you will be working as part of a lively, busy team. This is an unpaid position but Punch will pay travel expenses.
