Punch Records is Looking for Commissions for BASS Festival 2010

Following the success of BASS Festival 2009, which was listed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Festivals, commissions have now opened for next year's event.
Produced by Birmingham-based Punch Records, the month-long festival is a celebration of urban music and art. A key part of the festival is the unique commissions that are produced specifically for the festival.
For the 2010 festival, Punch is opening up the commissioning scheme and offering awards of between £500 - £3000 to support new work developed for the festival. In addition they are also offering specific commissions to take place at New Art Exchange, Nottingham and other Midlands venues to be announced soon.
Punch is looking for innovative and creative projects that explore the theme of DNA.
To apply just visit Punch Records' website and fill out an application form. The deadline for applications is Friday 15 January 2010 at 12 noon.
