Skincare gets enlightened with the launch of luxury brand, Bodhi

The high-end beauty market is about to become enlightened, with the launch of a brand new premium skincare brand, Bodhi. Launching in September, the Botanical Therapies range from Bodhi consists of seven individually scented bath and shower products, which boast a high ratio of essential oils. The range is aimed at rejuvenating skin and indulging the senses without the need for harsh synthetics.

Drawing its inspiration from the healing power of nature and traditional botanical remedies, Bodhi spent three years of intensive research developing this initial range. With a high ratio of essential oils, the bath and shower care products boast therapeutic qualities and evocative fragrances that last.

What really sets Bodhi apart in the beauty market is the quality and quantity of the active ingredients in all of its products. Most ‘natural’ products on the market today contain 0.5-1% of essential oils, but Bodhi products contain more than twice this average. This results in longer-lasting fragrances of the luxurious ingredients used, such as jasmine and rose otto absolute.

Unlike many other skincare products, the Botanical Therapies range is free from potentially harmful parabens, sulphates and petrochemicals. It uses a trio of mild cleansers derived from coconut oil and fruit sugars to gently cleanse without stripping skin of its natural oils. Which means not only does it smell fantastic; it is also good for you and the environment.

Elijah Choo, founder and creator of Bodhi, said:
“Bodhi means ‘enlightenment’, or directly translated, ‘to awaken’ and this is where the philosophy behind the range is derived.  A healthy body, well cared-for skin and a balanced state of mind are essential to promote our general well-being and Bodhi products, with their high content of essential oils, help the individual to achieve this. Using potent plant ingredients and proven traditional remedies from around the world, Bodhi bath and shower therapies aim to make people rethink their personal care and wellness routine.”

The range, which is made entirely in the UK, apart from its essential oils, will be launching in September in line with a brand new e-commerce website.

The seven scents that will be available are: Galangal Spice, Jasmine Falls, Mint Thé, Palmarosa Verde, Pep Noir, Rosemary Chi and Ylang-Ylang Incensa. Each therapy comes in a standard bottle priced at £22.50, with travel size gift option also included, and will be available for purchase from www.bodhi.uk.com.

Ends.
