Style Birmingham Live welcomes Warren Holmes

Hailed as the next big name in hairdressing by this month’s ELLE Magazine, Celebrity Hair Stylist Warren Holmes will be joining forces with TV’s George Lamb for this month’s Style Birmingham Live, from 24-26 September.
Nicky Clarke’s International Creative Director and stylist-to-the-stars, Warren will be returning to his hometown of Birmingham to head up the catwalk show styling team at the three day fashion and beauty event. He will be working with top stylists from the Birmingham Nicky Clarke Salon to add the finishing touches to the 22 models featuring in the event’s main spectacle, a stunning catwalk show featuring the hot new trends for Autumn/Winter.
No stranger to the limelight, Warren has worked his magic on the likes of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Sienna Miller, and is commonly requested by The Royal Family. He has been involved with photo shoots for some of the biggest fashion magazines including Vogue, Harpers and Bazaar and ELLE, and worked alongside legends like Mario Testino and Film Director Tim Burton. His creations have also been seen on catwalks around the world, including Chanel, Armani, Aquascutum and good friend Matthew Williamson.
Now Warren brings his skills to Style Birmingham Live’s catwalk show, which will take place in the city’s stunning Town Hall. Hosted by Big Brother’s Little Brother presenter George Lamb, the show features designer brands from House of Fraser and Harvey Nichols and high street favourites including French Connection, Karen Millen, Mango, Oasis and COS. Some of the city’s leading independent stores, including Mary Portas-praised Disorder, will also feature.
Warren said:
“I’m buzzing to be going home for Style Birmingham Live; Birmingham is a cool city and it’s where I’m from, so naturally at this stage in my career there isn’t anywhere else I’d rather be. I was supposed to be at Milan Fashion Week and I had a shoot in Paris, but when Nicky Clarke became the hair sponsor for the event, it was too good an opportunity to pass up.”
“I love that real women and men will be at the Town Hall catwalk shows, and not just designers and fashion journalists. It means I can get down to what I love; educating people on how to find a style that suits them and tips on how to re-create it at home. Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsey do it with cooking and I want to do it with hair.”
As the official hair partner for the Style Birmingham Live catwalk show, Nicky Clarke’s team will be presenting the hot hair trends for the season. The Warren Holmes at Nicky Clarke creations will be seen across a total of fourteen catwalk shows across the three days.
Nicky Clarke OBE said:
“Warren is a hugely talented hairstylist who I have worked closely with for many years. He now has an enviable track record working with some of the biggest names in fashion worldwide. Style Birmingham Live is a fantastic event and I know Warren is really excited to be showcasing his work in his home city.”
Tickets for Style Birmingham Live start at £10 and include a seat at the catwalk show, fabulous goody bag, access to events across the city’s retailers, including Bullring, Pavilions, House of Fraser and Selfridges. To book tickets and for the latest news, visit www.stylebirmingham.com.
