Cure Leukaemia

Mission possible

MISSION:

Working with Cure Leukaemia as they launched a £3 million national blood cancer trials network, funding specialist research nurses across the UK, moving from a regional charity to having a national presence, Rewired delivered a comprehensive and creative PR campaign to launch Cure Leukaemia’s ‘Put Us Out of Business’ campaign to inspire business organisations in the region to support the leading Birmingham-based charity to accelerate the search for a cure for blood cancer within the next 15 years.

Approach:

A key focus and message for the launch was highlighting to diverse business audiences and networks the significant impact of Cure Leukaemia’s partnership with Deutsche Bank, worth over £2m to the charity over 2 years, which has enabled investment in the new centre in Birmingham in addition to supporting the national expansion.
