Switch Housing

Building brand authority

MISSION:

As the retained PR agency for Switch Management, we have supported the brand’s business and profile growth since our appointment in 2022. Working closely with Switch’s marketing team, our strategic PR activity promotes a growing asset portfolio, as the hospitality experts continue to diversify into new sectors.

This includes Switch’s recent launch into the Housing sector. By crafting brand positioning frameworks, developing content for owned and earned media channels, and securing high quality press opportunities in target titles, we are helping to establish Switch as a trusted property management partner among both private landlords and local authorities.

Approach:

Since 2024, we have built brand visibility and awareness for the Switch Housing programme, which offers high quality housing solutions for vulnerable families.

A key focus of our activity was to increase brand awareness and highlight the benefits of working with Switch to landlords across the UK – and build credibility amongst local authorities looking to provide stable, long-term accommodation for families in need.

Through a proactive press office, we promoted the Switch Housing proposition by securing in-depth thought leadership articles, comment opportunities, and interviews in industry titles – targeting both a landlord and local authority readership. Leveraging the expertise of Switch’s MD, we have also provided expert insights on key issues impacting the housing sector, ensuring that Switch continues to establish authority in the market.

To further develop Switch’s brand narrative, we have produced a wide range of content for its owned channels – including case study testimonials from landlords working with Switch, explainer articles and Q&As on the latest legislation impacting the sector, and practical guides outlining the Housing programme and its benefits.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Our targeted thought leadership approach has secured high quality coverage in top tier titles. These include features on raising standards in temporary accommodation (Housing Management & Maintenance), the value of public and private partnerships (Inside Housing), and how to increase the resilience of landlord portfolios (Property Wire), as well as proactive comments on the Renters’ Rights Act and the latest Budget announcements.

Working as an extension of the Switch marketing team, our PR strategy for Switch Housing has helped to launch and establish the programme within a new market, to increase awareness amongst new client prospects, and, more broadly, to ensure a clear and consistent brand voice across Switch’s expanding asset portfolio.
